With another massive collective fundraising effort behind us, we would like to extend a heartfelt 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to everyone who supported the Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet stall this past weekend at 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗘𝗣 𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚.
Yes, funds were raised for our school and we are incredibly grateful for that, but perhaps even more importantly, 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆! The laughter, camaraderie and sense of community on display throughout the weekend reminded us once again what makes the Union family so special.
𝗔 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆. From the early-morning preparations and late-night clean-ups to the countless hours spent chopping, cooking, serving and organising by Mrs Katjana Ott and her team of moms, your efforts did not go unnoticed.
To the men who kept the fires going, the ladies who served with smiles and everyone who stepped in wherever help was needed – thank you.
