It’s two days later and we’re still basking in the afterglow of Saturday’s hockey encounter against Sunridge Primary School.

It was such a joy to see the hockey girls, supported by their coaches and parents, finally put into practice all that they’ve been learning these past two years –  a little piece of normal to melt the heart!

It’s during days like these that we are reminded of 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡’𝗦 𝗣𝗛𝗬𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 and how sport really does impact on children’s complete sense of well-being.

It has been such a delight to see children enjoying the 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 of competing together, encouraging and supporting as team members tried their best to gain that victory.

The 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 was also overwhelming as children were spurred on by shouts of ‘you can do it’ and as some have fallen, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲, with them getting straight back up to keep going.

𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘰 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦!
