It was all systems go on Wednesday morning, 19 January, at Union Preparatory School as our 66 Grade 1 learners started their first day at βbig schoolβ.
Although a few of the youngsters were visibly anxious, the vast majority of them, accompanied by their parents, were extremely excited on the big day – which marks the beginning of their 12-year schooling career – as they had been looking forward to it for such a long time!
