To make sure that the last couple of days of Term 1 are as fun as possible for our learners, Union Preparatory School will be hosting an ‘End of Term Fun Day’ on Tuesday, 20 April!
What can the kids expect?
𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭 𝘁𝗼 𝟯: must come to come to school as they normally would, i.e. in regular groups and Week 2 timeslots, wearing old civvies.
At school, they’ll be entertained with various fun activities, such as line dancing, sack races, egg and spoon races, an art station, spaghetti tower engineering, hula hoop lasso and stomp the balloon. There will also be some activities where their cricket, rugby and hockey skills will be put to the test.
𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟰𝘀: must come to school as per usual (07:30 – 13:45) dressed in their school swimming costume with a very old pair of shorts and an old t-shirt over it. All Grade 4s must please bring a swimming towel, warm top, a healthy snack and a bottle of water.
A different set of activities are on the programme for the Grade 4s, which is sure to test their quick-thinking skills and see them working on their social skills as they navigate the ins and out of cooperation and competition.
One thing is for certain, a lot of fun is on the cards!
