Union Preparatory School’s learners dedicated this past Wednesday and Thursday to Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink to school.
The learners donned pink attire, ranging in shades from pastel to hot pink, in honour of all those who who are fighting or have lost their battle to cancer.
βBreast Cancer Awareness Month is a cause thatβs close to our hearts here at Union Preparatory School,” said the school’s principal, Mrs Belinda Botha.β
My hope for this event is that our learners took some time to think beyond themselves while raising awareness to a cause that is near and dear to our school and community.β
