World Read Aloud Day is celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of February.
To celebrate the occasion, Union Preparatory School is running a week-long programme so that all our learners can share in the 𝗝𝗢𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚!
So far we’ve enjoyed read-alouds where the classroom’s reading champions have read stories aloud to their classes, our learners have been encouraged to bring their favourite books to school to share with their classmates and we’ve even had a reading picnic where the learners enjoyed reading interesting stories while relaxing on the school fields.
