Over the recent school holidays, siblings ๐๐ด๐ผ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐๐๐ผ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ผ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ travelled to Alice to compete in the Inter-Regional Chess tournament, where they successfully qualified to participate in the EC Closed trials.
Between them, ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐น๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐น๐ at various chess events across the province – from Makhanda to Jeffreys Bay and Graaff-Reinet.
They are also proudly counted among the six learners from Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet selected to represent the Sarah Baartman Chess teams.
