This past Saturday saw two swimmers from Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet join their counterparts from Union High School, Graaff-Reinet for the B-Age Gala held at Newton Park’s 50m pool in Gqeberha.

๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ made a significant impression by competing in the 50m Backstroke, Freestyle and Breaststroke events. Her standout performance came in the 50m Breaststroke, where she achieved a remarkable personal best by shaving off an astonishing 8.47 seconds from her previous time.
๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด also participated in the same events, and she too delivered an impressive performance. With significant time drops in all her races, Grace demonstrated her commitment to training and her ability to rise to the occasion in a competitive environment.
