A word from our principal

Dear Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet community,
As we approach the much-anticipated 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗦 event between the Union Schools and Volkskool, I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts and excitement with you.

Having been a newcomer to Graaff-Reinet once myself, I vividly remember my first Interschools experience. Initially, it was hard to understand the hype and the build-up. However, witnessing the passion and excitement firsthand was an unforgettable experience.

For one week, our town becomes a stage for fierce competition, with allegiances divided between two excellent schools. This division only adds to the excitement and vibrancy of the event. It is a time when we all come together to support our learners, fostering a spirit of community and sportsmanship.
As we prepare for the upcoming competitions, I wish both the Union Schools and Volkskool all the very best. In any competition, there are winners and losers, but we must remember that, as a town, we are all winners.
