This coming Saturday, 26 August, will see Union swimmers, Mateo Schoeman and Dan and Catie Davenport travel to Gqeberha, where they will participate in the second A League Gala at the Newton Park Swimming Pool.
𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘸𝘪𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘴’ 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴, 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵.
As the mornings get colder, the afternoons and evenings darker, and the hoodies, coats and ugg boots re-emerge from wardrobes – these young ones 
just 
keep swimming, knowing that the 𝘽𝙄𝙂 𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙬𝙞𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝘽’𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧.
Now, following months of winter training through the Destiny Swimming Academy, they are eagerly anticipating the 2023/24 swimming season, during which we know they’ll make a big splash!
