This past Saturday, 22 July, Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet‘s u/9 and u/10 hockey teams, as well as the u/9 and u/11 rugby sides, faced off against a visiting Clarendon Park Primary School.
Although met with rather windy conditions, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚, losing only 4 of the 16 games played.
𝘞𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭.
The rugby boys, however, had a tough day at the office, with the Clarendon teams proving to be the stronger sides on the day.
