The EP Biathlon Championships were held in Gqeberha earlier today, Sunday, 12 February.
Three Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet learners – Klara van Jaarsveld, Mateo Schoeman and Taylor Jacobs – participated.
All three competed in the u/11 age group.
𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿 recorded an excellent run time of 01:23.26 and a swim time of 00:37.44 to come in first overall in her age group!
She was followed by 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮 in second place, who recorded a run time of 01:27.43 and a swim time of 00:41.21.
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗼 came third in his age group, bagging a bronze medal, with a run time of 01:12.88 and a swim time of 00:41.55.
