Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet’s Grade 3 entrepreneurs had the opportunity to sell their goods and services to the rest of the school on Monday morning, 17 October, when the school hosted its annual 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝟯 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬.
There was great excitement as the day dawned and the stalls were set up.
𝘐𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴, 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘦, 𝘤𝘶𝘱𝘤𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘬 𝘴𝘺𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦-𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴, 𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴.
𝗙𝗨𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 included a ‘Spin-the-Wheel’ experience, a Pop-the-Balloon game and the opportunity to splash the teachers and coaches with a wet sponge.
Many other fun activities and interesting products were available to enthusiastic customers and we are pleased to announce that all of the Grade 3s walked away with impressive profits, already planning how they were going to spend their money.
