Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet‘s u/9A cricketers played a modified 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜-𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘 against Gill Primary School in Somerset East this afternoon, Wednesday, 12 October.
Gill won the toss and elected to bat first, putting a total of 43 runs on the scoreboard. Union claimed 5 wickets, which brought the score down to 33.
Union then went in to bat and managed to make 60 runs with the loss of 2 wickets, which brought the score down to 56 runs.
𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.
Ultimately, it was Union’s cricketers who won the match by 23 runs.
