On Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, 4 and 5 February, several of our young Union swimmers had the opportunity to attend a swim clinic hosted at the Union High School swimming pool.
The clinic was facilitated by SA swimmer JP Seyffert assisted by Union mom Natalie Davenport, and was aimed at providing the participating swimmers with an ๐ค๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ค๐ง๐ฉ๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐ซ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ง ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ข๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ก๐ก๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ช๐๐๐๐จ๐จ ๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐จ ๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐ง ๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฎ.
Basic drills, such as starting and finishing a race, diving, underwater work and turning were covered, all constantly interspersed with inspirational and motivational advice shared by coach JP.
