World Read Aloud Day is celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of February.
To celebrate the occasion, Union Preparatory School is running a week-long programme so that all our learners can share in the ๐๐ข๐ฌ ๐ข๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐!
So far weโve enjoyed read-alouds where the classroomโs reading champions have read stories aloud to their classes, our learners have been encouraged to bring their favourite books to school to share with their classmates and weโve even had a reading picnic where the learners enjoyed reading interesting stories while relaxing on the school fields.
