Youngsters hone their hockey skills

This past weekend, Union Preparatory School hosted a 𝗛𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗖 facilitated by former Protea player, Olympian and Old Unionite, Sulette Kotzee (née Damons).
The clinic saw Sulette working with dozens of excited youngsters on their field and stick work skills, along with speed and conditioning to assist with the players’ pre-season training.
Although the mercury rose especially on Saturday, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙙𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙜𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 on the Union High School AstroTurf.
This was a wonderful opportunity for Union’s players to interact with a Union legend, who gave the young hockey players sound advice which they can take to the fields ahead of the school hockey season coming this winter.
