The learners of Union Preparatory School’s Grade 4V class were taken on an academic enrichment activity to the Graaff-Reinet Museum Complex early this morning, Thursday, 8 April.
While being guided by knowledgeable museum staff, the learners toured through the Reinet House, The Old Residency and the Urquhart House, learning all sorts of historical facts about Graaff-Reinet along the way.
Outings such as these serve as powerful, positive teaching experiences that help enhance the social, personal and emotional development of our learners and we thank the Graaff-Reinet Museum Complex and its staff for facilitating the visit and making it such a memorable experience.
• The Grade 4T class will be visiting the museums tomorrow (Friday, 9 April).
