Union Preparatory School held their traditional Interschools Assembly in the early morning of Friday, 9 August.
The UPS Dome was packed with guests attending this very special event which produced no shortage of heartwarming moments.
From the entrance made by the high school’s 1st rugby and hockey teams, the presentation of the scarves, a welcoming address by principal Ms. Leona Rich and the special messages delivered by the UHS Head Prefects, to the addresses made by the 1st team captains and the little teams’ war cries, it could easily be seen why this is one of the most anticipated events of the year.
A highlight of the gathering was, most definitely, Edwardine Abader’s rendition of the song ‘Union’s Call’ – truly a “goosebumps” moment. (A video of this will be shared at a later stage.)
