Union Preparatory School handed over the special collection gathered at their Carols by Candlelight Event in November 2018 to Mr Laszlo Maya (Old-Unionite) in Assembly today. Laszlo heads up the Laszlo Maya Foundation for the deaf. Our collection from 2017 was used to facilitate a Sign Language Workshop, and this time our contribution will assist in acquiring a tablet with a special application to help Ava-Rose Adonis, who is completely deaf, to start communicating through visual cues.
