Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet’s learners enjoyed their annual 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 this morning (Friday, 16 September).
Learners from Grade 1 right through to Grade 4 competed and thoroughly enjoyed the summery weather as their parents and teachers supported from the side lines.
This year’s race was a tightly contested event with the majority of learners putting in some excellent gutsy runs. 𝘉𝘶𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘢 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘶𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺!
Overall, we were incredibly impressed with the levels of enthusiasm, fitness and commitment to this event – 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨.
