Summerwood also performed well in their batting, reaching the target with the loss of only 2 wickets. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻 stood out with an impressive score of 35 runs, while 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝗮𝘁𝗵 contributed by taking a wicket.
🏏 On Saturday, 2 March, they faced Summerwood once again in another T20 match.
The boys once again displayed their determination and faced the strong opposition with grit. Unfortunately, Union lost the toss and were asked to bat first.
𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝘁 got the team off to a good start with a hard-fought 14 runs before being run out by a direct hit. The Union team struggled to build any significant partnerships and were eventually bowled out for 44 in the 17th over. Despite this, the Union bowlers put up a strong performance, taking 4 wickets and showing a fighting spirit.
Unfortunately, the total proved to be too small as Summerwood successfully chased it down. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝘁 and 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝗮𝘁𝗵 both made valuable contributions with two wickets each.
