Compassberg 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗧

Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet is incredibly proud of Union dad Dawid De Wet, who is set to conquer the formidable Compassberg 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗧 in support of his son Richter’s soccer team, 𝙳𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚜 𝙳𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚒𝚎𝚜 ☠️⚽️
Founded in 1972, Dangerous Darkies holds the honour of being the oldest football club in Graaff-Reinet.
Richter, a Grade 3 learner at Union, joined this team in early January and immediately noticed that none of the kids have proper shoes. They either play barefoot on rough terrain or share boots, with each player wearing only one on their kicking foot. Richter and his dad are determined to change this situation.
