We are pleased to announce that Union Preparatory School, Graaff-Reinet’s 2023 u/10 mini hockey festival was a great success!
The festival was held earlier today, Saturday, 17 June, at the Union High School AstroTurf.
Despite challenging windy conditions, 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 130 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘦, 𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦.
The talent and potential on display was a testament that the future of hockey remains bright and promising in the Eastern Cape region.
𝙒𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 to all the participants for their fantastic results and sportsmanship. Each participant deserves credit for putting up a commendable effort while showing determination, teamwork, and resilience on the field.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to all those who traveled from near and far to participate in the festival. Your support and participation were the main ingredients of this event.
