Union Preparatory School and Union High School are incredibly excited to announce that it recently commenced with a new project, which will see π˜π—΅π—² π—²π˜…π—Άπ˜€π˜π—Άπ—»π—΄ π˜€π—°π—΅π—Όπ—Όπ—Ή 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹 π—Ήπ—²π—»π—΄π˜π—΅π—²π—»π—²π—±.
It has long been one of the school’s ambitions to lengthen the pool from its current length of 25 yards (22,84 metres) to that of a standard length competition pool – 25 metres.
Construction to have this accomplished, commenced earlier today, Monday, 20 June.
Once completed, the project will allow the school to host formal swimming galas (which need to be contested in a 25-meter pool) and in so doing generate, and allow for, renewed commitment from our swimmers and coaches to take swimming at Union to new heights.
